Black Chosen for Prestigious Game
Jeremy Black has been chosen to participate in the Collegiate Basketball Invitation in late April.
The South Region co-player of the year scored 10 points in the D-II All-Star game in March.
The CBI will be played in Wadsworth, Ohio and will feature 64 players from around the country. Black was one of the leading players in the region and helped UT get back to the NCAA tournament.
Tennis Falls to Saint Leo
The Spartans were unable to keep up their non-conference win streak as they dropped to 0-7 in the SSC.
The Lions defeated Tampa 8-1 in the match, with the only win coming in doubles play.
Caitlin Scudder and Emily Kennedy won their doubles match by a score of 8-1.
The team will next play in the SSC championships on April 17 at HCC.
UT to Host Preseason WNBA Game
The Washington Mystics and Sacramento Monarchs will play a preseason game on campus at the Martinez Center on May 5.
The game will be the first WNBA match ever held in Tampa.
Tickets will be $10 for adults and are available now.
