Amanda LaMonda, Photographer (Spring)

Amanda LaMonda is a graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in social and Emerging Media. Originally from upstate New York, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Paul Smith’s College, where she was a four-year collegiate hockey player and served as the school’s athletic photographer. Combining her background as both an athlete and creative, Amanda has built a strong foundation in sports media and visual storytelling. She has worked extensively in hockey and sports environments, including with the Tampa Bay Lightning’s community department, the University of Tampa men’s hockey teams, and the ECHL in Estero creating content. Amanda aspires to one day capture an NHL game through her lens, telling the story of the sport she has dedicated much of her life to both on and off the ice.
