Emily McLaughlin, Editor-In-Chief

Emily McLaughlin is the Editor-In-Chief for The Minaret. She is a senior journalism major with minors in psychology and leadership studies. She is the director of communications for the student government, vice president of the photography club, lead mentor for Discover UTampa, initiated into the phi eta sigma national honors society, a member of Paws, and with six internships under her belt, she currently is with PBS. She loves to be active, plays the guitar, and prioritizes staying busy! One day, she hopes to share the story of how a study abroad trip to Ireland, focused on global sports management, transformed the way she views the United States.
