Davis Has Learned From “Day Care” Responses

Three weeks ago, I ran a column about how the policies of most universities, including the University of Tampa, led me to believe that their main function has shifted. I focused specifically on the attendance policy in this column, following the previous column’s topic of alcohol policies. The overly restrictive nature of these policies, as well as their apparent dovetailing, inclined me to think that their only conceivable purpose was to serve to keep students occupied
