On Apr. 1, the University of Tampa Public Relations Student Society of America, UT PRSSA, invited The Minaret to attend a studio tour with WFLA, located in Tampa. Meteorologist Juliana Meija led the group through the main lobby, newsroom offices, broadcasting and streaming studios. Students had the chance to inquire about the duties of a meteorologist, reporter and producer. Meija ended the tour with a walkthrough of Studio A, where breaking news is broadcast and taped.
