TAMPA, Fla. – On Saturday, Feb. 28, in St. Petersburg, the NTT IndyCar Series and Indy NXT Series held practices and qualifying races. Day two of the three-day event, qualifying races determined where each driver started the following day’s race. Scott McLaughlin qualified with pole position for the NTT IndyCar Series with a time of one minute and 0.5436 seconds. Max Taylor claimed pole position for Indy NXT with a time of one minute and 4.8887 seconds.
