TAMPA- Five University of Tampa student films will screen at the 2010 Campus MovieFest (CMF) International Grand Finale (IGF). The IGF, which is also presenting over 200 of the top student films from across the nation, will take place at the Wynn in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Weʼre thrilled to invite the best student filmmakers from around the country to the Wynn to celebrate their creations. We canʼt think of a more fun and exciting location than Vegas, and we canʼt wait to show attendees the line-up of events weʼve got planned. Its going to be an amazing weekend.” said David Roemer, co-founder of Campus MovieFest.
IGF will also include workshops, networking opportunities, concerts, alumni gatherings and a star-studded final ceremony at the Encore Theater.
Among the 200 films being presented at the event, four of them are from UT students. The Dorm, Perennial Love, Call on Me, and Angelus Domini will screen for a chance to win more cash and prizes.
The 2010 CMF Best Comedy, Best Drama and Best Picture will be announced at the IGF gala ceremony.
