Students all over UT are reppin’ the surf industry’s newest while walking to and from class or enjoying themselves at night.
Surfing has taken over mainstream culture in recent years because of the stylish individualism it encourages.
Florida boasts some of the best waves the East coast has ever seen, and with all the storms and low pressure systems hanging around, the gulf pumps enough fun waves to satisfy anyone’s fix.
UT’s surf club provides the ideal opportunity to explore all of these areas.
Started in the spring of 2006, the club now boasts over 60 active members.
This diverse club already has gained recognition through surf sponsors as well as affiliates with non-profit organizations.
The club is currently in negotiations with Haze Surfboards to sponsor the UT Surf Team in future events.
