Minaret Concert Series

This Tuesday on September 11th, The University of Tampa and The Minaret Concert Series are excited to host the piano recital of guest artist James Helton.

James Caton Helton is a solo and collaborative performer. He has performed across the U.S. and in many cities across the world. His talent and professionalism has led him to work with Pulitzer Prize winning composers such as: William Bolcom, George Crumb, Lucas Foss, and Joseph Schwantner.

In addition to Dr. Helton’s own appearances at the piano, he is the Associate Professor of Music Performance at Ball State University where he teaches piano and chamber music.

The University of Tampa is eager to have James Helton perform feature works by Bach, Brahms, Oldham and Ravel on campus this Tuesday. The recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Salon of Plant Hall. Admission is free and all are welcome.
