Firehouse Dog Barks With Laughter

I was skeptical about “Firehouse Dog” when I first went to see it.

But overall, the movie was good! Great movie for kids. It was very obvious that the kids gave it thumbs up.

Directed by Todd Holland, who is also the creator of “Malcolm in the Middle” there was constant laughter through out the entire movie.

I am not going to spoil it for you if you decide to go watch the movie, but I will give you a hint on what it is about.

“Firehouse Dog” mainly took place at a run down fire station, starring Bruce Greenwood and Josh Hutcherson has a father and son who are growing apart after losing a family member to a fire.

Rexx is a famous Hollywood star dog who has fallen out of his plane performing a commercial.

Lost and unrecognized in a new city, Rexx is chased by dig catchers and takes refuge in a abandoned lofts.

Later the lofts are set on fire and Rexx makes a leap out of the fire into Connor’s arms.

The boy and the firefighters start to grow deeply attached to the dog, and things start to fall into place.

For example, the father and son are coming closer, and the firehouse is gaining back its reputation thanks to their new mascot.

I don’t want to give out to much information.

But know this: You have got to see this movie! “Firehouse Dog” keeps you interested, and there are plenty of funny moments.

I can not count how many times I busted out laughs.
