2024 Concerts In Tampa Bay

By Sofia Aparicio-Gallagher

The music is loud, and the venue is filled as the crowd screams in excitement as their favorite artist rushes onto the stage. The long-awaited concert date has arrived, and the crowd is excited. Concert enthusiasts, it’s time to buy the best seats for the long list of talented artists coming to Tampa Bay. As we dive into 2024, small artists and big names have started their tours. There is a range of artists coming and diverse genres to enjoy. University of Tampa students can experience concerts outside in the beautiful weather all year.

The lineup begins with a newer artist, ericdoa, an American singer-songwriter. His music can be classified as hyperpop or digicore music. Ericdoa is performing on Wednesday at The Orpheum in Tampa. The general admissions price is low as he is up and coming on his “Dead On Arrival Tour.” This is a perfect time to listen to a new artist as he becomes more recognizable.

As we go into March, some old fan favorites visit Tampa Bay. The Florida local Flo Rida will perform at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, FL. His concert on March 9 is expected to be high-energy and very entertaining. The next day, March 10, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, and Ricky Martin will perform at Amalie Arena. The group created a short set of their greatest hits for “The Trilogy Tour.”

Bryce Vine and Hoodie Allen are performing at Jannus Live in Saint Petersburg, FL, on March 16. Bryce Vine, originally known as Bruce Ross-Johnson, has hits including “Drew Berrymore,” “La La Land” and “Guilty Pleasures.” This dance electric duo has reasonable ticket prices starting at $70.

The king of Latin rap, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, is coming to Tampa on May 21. He will perform at Amalie Arena on his “Most Wanted Tour” after releasing his newest album, “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.” Bad Bunny took a break from touring in 2023 after being the top touring artist in 2022. Rumor has it that this is Bad Bunny’s best tour yet, and tickets are still available.

Summer, the unofficial concert season, draws in some of this generation’s best country and folk singers, starting with Kentucky native Tyler Childers on his “Mule Pull 24 Tour.” Childers performs on June 5 at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

Next is the famous Morgan Wallen, who continues his “One Night At A Time Tour” for a second summer. Last year, he missed multiple shows due to vocal cord trauma and is performing his rescheduled shows. Wallen will sing for two nights on July 11 and 12 at Raymond James Stadium.

To end the summer season, Zach Bryan is performing at Raymond James Stadium on Aug. 14. The tickets range from $400 to $900, but “The Quittin’ Time Tour” is worth attending with special guests Levi Turner and Jason Isbell as the show openers. This folk/country singer changes lives with his emotional lyrics and somber voice.

Have fun and be safe at whichever concerts you attend. Some helpful reminders include bringing cash to the venue and drinking plenty of water before, as the concession prices are high. When buying tickets, Wednesday and Thursday are the best days to purchase.

Experience a new venue or artists and be entertained with friends this concert season.
