Straz Hall was evacuated around 9 p.m. tonight after a fire alarm. Two independent witnesses reported smoke on the fourth floor, possibly a kitchen fire.

Others are saying it’s merely an alarm. Meanwhile, RAs said it would take longer than usual to get back into the building and students were told to find somewhere to watch the Super Bowl.

Tampa Fire Department is on the scene investigating.

Buses involved in ferrying fans to the Bruce Springsteen Super Bowl halftime show were moved as a result.

An engine and a vent truck responded.
