Registration for Campus MovieFest (CMF) began Dec. 1 and will be open to all students until Jan. 31 at http://www.campusmoviefest.com. Groups can be up to 10 members and each group will receive a laptop, video camera, and support from a CMF staff member. Winners will be selected from each of the three categories: Comedy, Drama, and Best Picture. The Finale for CMF will take place on Feb. 13 in the Vaughn Courtyard.
Students wishing to start their career can access Hire UT for more information. Services such as Perfect Interview and Optimal R’eacute;sum’eacute; allow students to evaluate their behavior during a simulated interview and construct r’eacute;sum’eacute;s based off of relevant criteria.
SG Constitution is going to be “revamped” beginning in the Spring Semester. To join the committee, contact SG for more information.
Elections for SG will be held the beginning of next semester. Anyone thinking about running for office should visit SG for information about positions. Packets for available positions can be found on BlackBoard.
The next General Assembly meeting will be Jan. 29.
The Organization Suite will not be open the week of Dec. 10 to Dec. 15. Organizations must make sure to clean out all materials since any remaining items will be discarded.
Effective Jan. 28, Vaughn Desk will not be open 24 hours. Students that are locked out of their dorms can contact security when Vaughn Desk is not open.
