Striving to promote service on UT’s campus has always been a commitment that the staff of the P.E.A.C.E. Volunteer Center strongly upholds.
This year, P.E.A.C.E. aims to make get involved and active in the Tampa Bay community much easier for students through their new Site Leader Program.
The program allows students to act as a P.E.A.C.E. Coordinator on a volunteer basis. The volunteer event will be scheduled and planned by a member of the P.E.A.C.E. staff, however, a student site leader will be able to put that volunteer event into action.
Each student interested in the program must complete an application and attend Site Leader training on September 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The time that the site leader is out with a group will be counted towards both their P.E.A.C.E. community service hours as well as their co-curricular transcript.
Anyone interested in the program can pick up a Site Leader application from the P.E.A.C.E. Volunteer Center located in Vaughn Center room 206.
