Those companies are the REAL robbers! — At 3:20 p.m. on Jan. 29, UT Security was contacted to report missing money from a vending machine in the Sykes Building.

When will those freshmen learn? — At 4:00 p.m. on Jan. 29, UT Security was dispatched to McKay Hall to conduct a search for drugs. Numerous cans of alcohol were found, but no drugs. Room residents were referred to conduct board.

Ring, ring … it’s justice calling. — At 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 29, UT Security was contacted to report theft of a cell phone from the Vaughn Center.

WHY WON’T YOU TAKE MY DOLLAR?!? — At 1:38 a.m. on Jan. 30, UT Security was called in reference to two locks on the Vaughn Center Mac-Grey landry card machine that were twisted and not locked.

iTheft — At 11:10 a.m. on Jan. 30, UT Security was dispatched to the West Parking Garage in reference to a shattered rear passenger window of a vehicle and a missing iPod.

Looks like it was more than “possible” — At 6;30 p.m. on Jan. 31, UT Security was dispatched to investigate a possible drug offense in Austin hall. Students will be referred to the Judicial Board for violation of drugs and alcohol policy.

That’s why it beeps when you’re done. — At 3:45 p.m. on Feb. 1, UT Security was contacted to report funds withdrawn from a student’s bank account when he accidentally left his ATM card in the Vaughn Center machine.

Top down, drop in — At 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 2, UT Security wa contacted in reference to a vehicle that was ransacked in the Thomas Parking Garage. Vehicle’s convertible top was not up.

You should always look at the guy behind you in line — At 12:45 a.m. on Feb. 4, UT Security was contacted in reference to an ATM card that was left at the Vaughn Center ATM machine. The individual informed security the card as used on campus. The individual was given the phone number to the Tampa Police Department.

Wonder what he’s up to? — At 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 4, UT Security observed an individual walking along the exterior of the West Parking Garage. Individual was approached and interviewed by security, and was informed to depart campus, doing so without incident.

Arr, and I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for the meddling effects of my crack addiction! — At 12:49 a.m. on Feb. 5, UT Security was informed of an individual sleeping inside a student’s vehicle. The individual had been previously trespassed from campus, so Tampa Police was contacted and made an arrest.
