The Return of the Master Bike Thief

This is probably the same guy who kept stealing clothes out of the dryers last semester. — At 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, Security was contacted to report a missing bicycle from Plant Hall.

There was no incident. It was swamp gas. — At 2:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Security transported two students to the hospital due to an incident that happened off campus.

Yeah, this time it was actually real. — At 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Security responded to a call of smoke in the hallway of Vaughn Center. Upon arrival, Security noticed that a plastic trash can had been on fire from a cigarette.

Watch the first step – it’s a doozy! — At 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Security was contacted to report an individual had slipped and fell from a wet concrete step in Plant Hall.

Intellectual Property Theft — At 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, Security responded to a call in reference to a complaint of a book theft from the bookstore.

Throwdown! — At 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, Security was dispatched to a noise disturbance in McKay Hall. Security spoke to a student who stated he was involved in an altercation off campus. The student was transported to the hospital by a friend for medical attention.

Well, he came to the right place. — At 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, Security responded in reference to an unknown person soliciting money near McKay Hall. Upon arrival, the individual was found and escorted off campus.

Freshman Alchol Violations: Volume 943, 297 — At 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, Security was contacted for alcohol offenses in the Vaughn Center. Upon arrival three non-students were escorted off campus. Residents of the room were referred to the Judical Board.

Because that has a high black market value. — At 1:05 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Security was contacted to report a missing backpack.

Hey, you gotta have something to put in that snazzy new backpack. — At 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Security observed a vehicle near Plant Hall with the left side doors open. The owner stated he may have left the doors open. Upon inspection, he stated a laptop computer was missing.

Must have been a big backpack. — At 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Security was contacted in reference to a missing laptop from Straz Hall.

I heard the non-student got smacked down – go Spartans! — At 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Security responded to a call of a fight. A student and a non-student were involved. The student will be referred to the Judical Board.

Unlocked doors? Better document this. — At 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, Security observed doors unlocked at the ADT building. Security took photographs of the area and secured the doors.
