These Guys Are the Real Turkeys This Thanksgiving

Identity Theft — At 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 6, UT Security responded to a call in reference to a missing ID card in the McNiff Center.

Who do you think you are? Bugs Bunny?! — At 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 7, UT Security responded to a call from a student reportinig smoke and odor from fireworks discharged inside a cake by a door in the Vaughn Center.

What did we do?! — At 1:35 a.m. on Nov. 8, UT Security was contacted from the Vaughn Center to report a concern regarding an article in The Minaret.

Do not pass GO! … — At 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 8, UT Security was informed by Tampa Police of a UT student driving while intoxicated. Student was transported to jail.

You done got burgled. — At 6:23 p.m. on Nov. 8, UT Security was contacted to report a break-in and theft of items inside the room.

Good thing their roommate was home. — At 10:02 p.m. on Nov. 8, UT Security was contacted to report a missing card holder and keys.

Hey! A space! — At 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 9, UT Security observed a vehicle on the unregistered list. As of today’s date, vehicle has not registered to park on campus. The towing compnay was contacted and the car was removed.

Thirsty … for justice. — At 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 9, UT Security responded to a call of an alcohol offense in McKay hall. A room search was done and alcohol was found. Student will be referred to the judicial board.

Goodbye! — At 4:15 a.m. on Nov. 10, UT Security responded to a call of disturbance in the Vaughn Center Plaza. A non-student was trespassed off campus.

iPod is better anyway — At 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 10, UT Security was contacted to report a missing Sony MP3 player from the Vaughn Center.

Cheap UT Students : Volume I — At 11:15 a.m. on Nov. 11, UT Security was contacted by a taxi driver to report an individual who was dropped off on campus at North B Center and did not pay.

What about the children?? — At 1:35 p.m. on Nov. 12, UT Security was called to report an injured child that bumped her head while in a rocking chair in Plant Hall. Her father declined medical assistance.
