Demi studies Graphic Design at The University of Tampa as a junior. She became the Design Editor of The Minaret in August of 2020. During her freshman year at UT (2018-2019), she served as the Arts & Entertainment Section Editor of The Minaret. In the spring of 2018, she served as a staff writer. She has written over a dozen published stories for The Minaret.

Demi discovered journalism in high school, where she wrote stories for her school newspaper. She loves to write Arts & Entertainment profiles, but primarily focuses on publication design. Demi is most proud of her designs for The Minaret. She also serves as the Art Director for Neon, UT’s literary magazine.

Demi’s career goals include becoming a publication designer for editorial magazines and an art director for any medium, where she can lead a team behind the visuals.
