I am shocked to read under my name above that I would like a copy. I would not like a copy and fully support UT and all about it.
How my name got listed above and also with an uncorrected typo is beyond me.
The record is clear that I have great admiration and respect for UT and numerous published Internet articles I have written attest to that fact.
Best regards to all good persons at UT…and there are dozens and dozens!

Drama: Given your clear dislike and arguably defamatory statements against Dr. Maddan, I hope you had the good sense (unlikely) not to post your diatribe from a traceable IP address from an office…say perhaps of an administrator…in Plant Hall. You apparently have more knowledge and emotions about Maddan than the typical average bear
Enough with the drama!
I for one am getting tired of reading about Sean Maddan and how he has been slighted by the University of Tampa. This one seems like a no brainer. Why in the world would the University want to endorse a book written by a faculty member that has publicly criticized the University and made a fool out of himself doing it? Maddan was censured by his own peers for unprofessional behavior–the faculty Senate ( made up of faculty not administration). This is just the stuff we know about. I question his qualifications for writing a historical text and his motives given that he has clearly stated he does not like the University, his colleagues, or administration (some would even say his students for that matter). As a proud member of the University of Tampa community I say let’s focus on the people (students, faculty, employees, etc.) that make a positive contribution to our community. Enough with promotion of drama!

I’m definitely getting a copy; shame it didn’t come out in 06 when first pitched, but better late than never
