PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jeremy Black of the men’s basketball team scored a career high 37 points against conference rival Eckerd College. He completed a double-double with 11 rebounds. Tampa came up short 87-86 in the game. Black also put up a team high 22 points in the first game of last week against Barry University. THIRD STRAIGHT 20+ WIN SEASON The womens basketball team went on the road to record win number 20 against Palm Beach Atlantic last Saturday. The victory marked head coach Tom Jessee’s third consecutive season with 20 or more wins. The girls will now have a first or second place seed moving into the post season held in Tampa this week. TAMPA IN THE RANKINGS The 28th ranked tennis team fell 0-9 to eighth ranked Nova Southeastern. Tampa looks to secure their first conference win, so far striking out 0-5.
