CORE Survey Nets Students Cold Cash

Two students recently received a big payout for speaking their minds.

Freshman Danielle Smith and senior Carrie Brown participated in the CORE survey, which is coordinated by the Office of the Dean of Students.

“This survey is an important, anonymous survey … [used] to gather information on alcohol and other drug use behaviors and attitudes on campus to better address our programming and service needs,” said Associate Dean of Students Gina Firth.

“Information from the survey is also used in social norm campaigns on campus,” she explained.

For their efforts, both students received a $100 gift card to the campus bookstore.
