Sigma Chi Hosts Derby Days

The Sigma Chi Fraternity concluded its second annual Derby Days philanthropy last Friday, raising a significant amount of money for the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Derby Days is a nationally-practiced week of events to raise awareness about cancer and to raise funds for the Institute.

On Monday, the Sigs invited members of the five Pan Hellenic sororities to participate in various competitions in Vaughn Courtyard.

Tuesday was the Little Miss Derby competition, with the men dressing up as women in a beauty pageant.

Derby Dash, the most popular event of the week, was held on Thursday.

It was a red-rover style game where the men had to try to run past the women without losing their Derby hats.
